With the decline of the United States immient, why should we let a bunch of backwards ass people dictate how we live our lives? They can have their crappy country and discriminate against whomever they please all while choking on their coal fueled power plants, we here on the West Coast have more than enough resources (natural, brainpower and otherwise) to go it on our own. When the government no longer represents the people, it is up to us to remove ourselves from their grasp. It is for this reason that I support the independance of Cascadia and whatever other states feel that they are not being represented in Washington DC. From this day forth, I will devote my strengths and talents to Cascadian independance (in addition to THROW IT AWAY;). While I understand that I am lucky to be in such an already progressive region - it is clear that this is under attack from outside forces and must be protected. Much respect to any who disagree with this assesment/call to action, by no means am I not saying to not try and affect change from the inside. However, I feel that the preservacation of the Cascadian region can only be accomplished by freeing it from the oversight of the US Federal Government.
