Starting each week now, THROW IT AWAY will be giving shoutouts to our favorite podcast episode [of the week]. 

If you remember back to our April episode, TIA introduced you to Landon Murray of The Death of the Mix Tape. During my time with Landon, we discussed several musicians, one of whom is on this week's podcast episode recommendation: episode 212 of Improv4Humans featuring Dan Deacon!

If you're not familiar with the show, it's presented by Matt Besser of the Upright Citizens Brigade and showcases some of the best improv personalities of today! Oftentimes, there is a musician on the show who will play a song which launches the show into hilarious improvised scenes. The best is sometimes when the musical guests become involved-like in episode 212 w/Dan Deacon! This episode in particular has some of my favorite Improv4Humans guests: Seth Morris, Jon Gabrus & the amazing Lauren Lapkus. If you go back to TIA's November 2014 episode, you can listen to us talk about an unforgettable experience getting to watch a taping of Improv4Humans at the LA Podfest 2014.

As far as Dan Deacon is concerned, this man is incredible. Do yourself a favor, take a listen to some of the songs on this list, then watch this performance and check out Landon's interview with the man himself!
